If you’re looking for a good place to put your money to work with a great rate of return, American Leatherworks might be right for you.     

American Leatherworks opened in December of 2008 and has grown slowly, but surely, through a very challenging economy.  We were bold enough to take some large risks, without taking on too much debt.  This has meant steady growth with measurable gains.   

There was no template for the type of business that we’re running so the first years have been full of marketing tests, failures and successes.  We’ve removed the failures and have improved on the successes. 

The company has a very strong core business.  The inventory management, sales, and accounting are running efficiently and effectively.  We are effectively controlling the direction that the company grows in, and have extensive plans for continued growth.

Before developing American Leatherworks and opening the doors, we incorporated as Nicheworks USA, Inc. (a C Corporation).  This allows us to issue stock to outside investors when we feel the time is right.  At this time, we are not offering any stock for purchase. 

We have very solid plans for growth and improvement.  We are content to get there through slow growth if necessary, but are fully prepared to borrow moderate amounts of capital from individual investors to accelerate growth.  Loans would be used to hire and train employees, expand product lines, purchase machinery, target advertising, improve our website and storefront, take advantage of bulk purchasing, timely discounts and more.  To know what kind of things we’ll do, look at the kind of things we’ve done.  Here’s our business plan in a nutshell:  Get a little better every day.

Lending Options:  We’re currently interested in borrowing amounts between $20,000 and $150,000.  We’ll gladly pay between 8 and 10 percent interest depending on payback terms.  Interest will begin accruing immediately, but payments would not begin until we’ve had at least a year to put the money to work.  Higher rates paid for more time before payments start.
